To the north of the High Central Atlas, where it is most impenetrable, where no road manages to cross it, stands a multitude of peaks whose altitude is close to 4000 m: the M'Goun (4068 m) and the Ouaougoulzat (3770 m)
At their feet, the Berber valleys Ait Bougmez, Ait Bowli and Imerhane isolated for much of the year by the snows and difficult access are oases of prosperity in the middle of the austere mountains that protect them to infinity. Their inhabitants, proud craftsmen of an amazing human landscape, have built the most beautiful villages of the Atlas. In these mountains, sheltered from the heat of the plain, this hike allows you to discover a forgotten mountain people in sublime landscapes. You can climb the M'Goun as well as descend the Tassaout, a huge canyon that this river has dug at the foot of the M'Goun range.
